A Camino Shaped by Water & Stone
One flows. The other endures. Together, they form the rhythm of Galicia and the heart of this pilgrimage. Step onto a path shaped by ancient elements and discover the soul of the Camino through its landscapes, legends, and coastline.
The Route
This journey follows the official Camino Portugués Coastal Route + the Spiritual Variant, a 167 km pilgrimage from Caminha to Santiago de Compostela.
You’ll start in Portugal and cross the Miño River into Spain, walk along the rugged Atlantic coast, and then turn inland along the peaceful Variante Espiritual and the storied Ruta de la Piedra y del Agua.
Along the way, sparkling beaches meet the tides, and paths of ancient stone lead the way to three unforgettable boat crossings, revealing Galicia from its most elemental perspective.
By the time we reach Santiago, you’ll have completed more than enough distance to earn your Compostela.
The Experience
This is a Camino of movement, challenge, and connection.
Yes, there will be hills. Yes, you’ll carry your own pack.
But with each climb, you’ll find new strength and with each step, a deeper sense of presence.
Together, we’ll enjoy a few side adventures, savour Galicia’s incredible seafood, and celebrate our shared arrival in Santiago de Compostela.
Accommodations
